Sometimes I think of you

and all the fun things we used to do

and when I think of the past

seems like it went by too fast

at night I scream out loud

wondering where are you now

why did you go away – and leave me here to stay

but I can hope

I can remember

and think of all the happy times we spent together

Sometimes I see your face

Especially on those rainy days

Where did it all go wrong?

But I know that life goes on

Then I start wondering

if I'll see your face again

and now that childhood dream

it makes sense to me

and now our hopes and dreams

fade into memories

and I keep them all inside of me

and now I'll carry on

knowing that when things go wrong

you will be smiling down on me
